  • Getting a Cash Advance, also known as a Payday Loan, is a quick and easy process. Here are the 3 steps:

      • Online if you live in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Nova Scotia, Ontario or Saskatchewan
    3. Choose how you would like to receive your funds

  • Your loan application is reviewed once the supporting documents are received. If approved, the funds are electronically deposited into your bank account or may be picked up in-store.
  • You will receive a decision once your completed loan application is submitted. However, funding of the loan is contingent upon your signature on the loan agreement and verification of your application information.
  • It depends. New customers may be required to upload or email the following documents to establish an account:
    • Your most recent pay stub (not older than 30 days), or other proof of income
    • A bank statement which shows the last 2 direct deposits from your qualifying income source and the bank account number
    • A blank, voided cheque or pre-authorized debit form
    • A copy of a valid government-issued ID (colour scan or photo) Note: photo identification cards cannot be faxed
    • Additional documentation may be required
  • When you submit your application, you will set up a username and password to log in as a returning customer. Using this website, you will be able to track the status of your loan, perform basic account maintenance, and review your loan, scheduled payment due date, etc.

  • The loan agreement you read and sign prior to receiving your loan is a contract between you and the lender. The loan agreement fully outlines the terms and conditions of the loan. It is important that you read and understand the terms and conditions of the agreement.   • Your payment is scheduled to be due on your next pay date following the origination of the loan.
  • Loans originated online are repaid by pre-authorized debit from your chequing account. If you prefer to pay in-store, this must be done at least three business days before the due date.
  • No. A Cash Advance is meant for short term borrowing needs only. As such, we require your loan to be paid-off in full on the due date. You may not use the proceeds of another loan to do so.
  • You will need to repay the full principal and fees on your next payday. When your scheduled payment is due, it is repaid by a pre-authorized debit from your chequing account. We will notify you of any failed payment.
  • We understand that circumstances can change. If you know you cannot make a scheduled payment, you must let us know as soon as possible and we will do our best to help. Please be aware that unless payment is received, we will consider all options permitted by law to pursue collection of the debt.   • If you have an in-store loan and your payday or bank account details have changed, please visit a Money Mart store to update your information. You will need to provide supporting documents.
  • If you are an online customer and your payday or bank account details have changed:
    • If you have an active online loan, contact customer service at 1-800-361-1407. You will need to upload or email supporting documents.
    • If you do not have an active online loan, you can change your information by logging into your online account.
