Flinks is a financial data aggregation service that allows users to connect their bank accounts to various financial applications. Should you use Flinks’ automatic financial account linking, your account data may be shared with Flinks in accordance with their privacy policies.
We use Plaid to assist us with identity verification. Plaid may review the personal information on documentation you provide to us to confirm its authenticity, or may compare your information in our control with information about you from other sources (e.g. credit reporting agencies, utility service providers) to confirm your identity when creating or logging into your account. Plaid is also a biometric ID verification provider which can be used to confirm the authenticity of photo identification documents provided to us, and to verify the identity of new clients.
Data shared with Flinks and Plaid is retained only as long as necessary for them to provide their services, after which point it is securely deleted in accordance with their privacy policies. Users can manage or revoke consent by visiting their account settings or contacting the provider directly.
If we enter into a business transaction involving personal information or are considering one, such as selling assets, we may share personal information securely with the other parties to the transaction, for example, as part of due diligence or when we complete the transaction.
