NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES AND REGULATIONS (the "Contest Rules")
- Contest Period: The Contest commences on February 1, 2012 at 12:00:01 pm Eastern Time ("ET") and ends on October 30, 2012 at 11:59:59 pm ET ("the Contest Period").
- Eligibility: The Contest is open to individuals who are legal residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry into the Contest. Employees, representatives and agents of Western Union Financial Services (Canada) Inc. ("Western Union" or the "Contest Sponsor"), and their immediate families, respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies, licensees, including the independent judging organization (the "Contest Judges"), and any persons domiciled with any of the above are not eligible. In these Contest Rules, "immediate family" means parents, children, siblings and spouses.
- How to Enter: There are two (2) ways to enter the Contest:
- Short Message Service ("SMS") Text Message Option: To enter the Contest via SMS text messaging, the entrant will require a mobile phone with SMS text messaging capabilities. Standard data and message rates will apply for each entry. The entrant’s mobile phone number will automatically be logged in the mobile platform.
- Send money to any country or receive money from any country via the Western Union® Money in Minutes service or Next Day service at participating Money Mart or Insta Cheques locations during the Contest Period.
- Text your entry by texting the keyword "Cash" and the last 4 digits of the 10-digit MTCN to short code 88898 any time during the Contest Period. The 10-digit MTCN is from the Western Union money transaction receipt (the "Receipt") entrants would have received after sending money via Western Union.
- Upon successful completion of the SMS entry you will receive a confirmation SMS stating that the entry has been received.
- Each SMS entry entered during the Contest Period with the keyword "Cash" and the last 4 digits of the 10-digit MTCN from the Receipt will automatically receive one (1) entry into the Contest. Duplicate entries with the same last 4 digits of the 10 digit MTCN will not be considered.

- NO PURCHASE NECESSARY: To enter without a Receipt, hand-print your complete name, address and telephone number on a piece of paper and mail to:Money Mart® Text 2 Win Cash ContestLimit of one (1) mail-in entry per post marked envelope. Enter as often as you wish, but each sweepstakes entry must be completed in full, postmarked by the applicable Transaction/Mail-In Date and received by the following Friday to be included in the next subsequent draw date (as explained in Section 6). No copies, facsimiles or reproductions of mail-in entry will be accepted. Proof of mailing does not constitute proof of delivery or receipt.

No responsibility is assumed by the Contest Sponsor for any lost, late, damaged, destroyed, misidentified, illegible or misdirected entries or for any other problems occurring in connection with participation in this Contest. No responsibility will be taken for any failure of mobile service during the Contest Period for any reason or for any problems or technical malfunction of a network or lines, computer systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any SMS entry or online entry on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on telephone or internet networks including any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s mobile or other phone related to and resulting from engaging in the Contest.
- Prizes and Publicity: There will be a total of thirty-six (36) winners. There will be four (4) winners for each month of the Contest Period. Each prize consists of $500 and will be provided in the form of a cheque. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period. Total value of prizes is $18,000 CDN. In the event that the winner is unable to timely redeem the prize, the prize will be forfeited and no compensation or substitution prize will be provided. The prize must be accepted as awarded and is non-transferable. There is a limit of one (1) prize per person and per residence. By accepting a prize in this Contest, the winner consents to the use of his/her name, photograph, likeness, comments, recordings of voice or image, in any and all media, without further compensation, in any publicity carried out by the Contest Sponsor or Money Mart/Insta Cheques.
- Draw: Winners will be drawn once monthly as per the schedule below. All draws will be conducted by the Contest Judges in Pickering, Ontario. The non-winning entries collected will be carried forward to the future draw dates. The nine (9) dates when the monthly random draws will occur are as follows:

Before being declared a winner, the selected entrant must present the original copy of the Receipt for verification that money was sent within the Contest Period within 7 days of notification. No Receipt is required if the selected entrant entered the Contest by way of Section 3.2. Once verified, the selected entrant must correctly answer, unaided, a mathematical skill-testing question. Should a selected entrant fail to meet any of the Contest Rules, he/she will be disqualified. A potential winner will be required to sign and return a winner’s Declaration Form within seven (7) business days from the time it is postmarked as having been sent by the Contest Sponsor or its representative, or the prize will be forfeited and will be re-awarded. A new random draw will be conducted in accordance with the Contest Rules to award the prize. By entering the Contest, entrants agree to abide fully by the Contest Rules and the decisions of the Contest Sponsor, which are final. All winners will be required to sign the Contest Sponsor’s standard release documents before receiving the prize and authorize the Contest Sponsor or Money Mart/Insta Cheques to announce and publish his or her name, address (city only) and photograph or likeness, in the future without further compensation, or other obligation to the winner. Upon receipt of the signed release documents, a cheque will be available to winner at the Money Mart/Insta Cheques location where they performed the winning transaction, or in the case of winners by way of section 3.2 a cheque will be available at the Money Mart/Insta Cheques nearest to their place of residence.
- Privacy Policy: Personal information will be collected and used by the Contest Sponsor and the Contest Judges for the purpose of administering this Contest. Western Union also collects personal information about you and the recipient (the "Receiver") from your service transactions and, where permitted or required by law, from other sources (the "Information"), as more fully explained in the Western Union Financial Services (Canada), Inc. - General Information: The Contest Sponsor reserves the right to withdraw, terminate or modify all or any part of the Contest by publishing a notice on the Contest Sponsor’s or Money Mart’s website (http://www.westernunioncanada.ca/ or http://www.moneymart.ca). If for any reason the Contest is not capable of running as planned, including corruption, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud or any other cause beyond the control of the Contest Sponsor which in the opinion of the Contest Sponsor affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Contest. Any person entering the Contest or trying to do so by any means which go against the intention of the Contest Rules and which would be unfair to the other participants will be automatically disqualified and the Contest Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. In the event it is determined that an entrant has entered in a fashion not sanctioned by the Contest Rules, the entrant will be disqualified and all of the entries submitted by the entrant will be disqualified. Entries are subject to verification by the Contest Sponsor or its agents, representatives or assigns. By entering this Contest, entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Contest Sponsor and Contest Judges with respect to all aspects of the Contest, which are final and binding on all entrants, and release, indemnify and hold Western Union and its affiliates, subsidiaries, representatives, agents, employees and the Contest Judges harmless from any liability in connection with this Contest or the acceptance, use and/or misuse of a prize. This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and local laws.
- Winners’ List: A list of monthly prize winners may be obtained by sending a stamped, self-addressed envelope with a request to Money Mart Text 2 Win Cash Contest, Winners List Request, P.O. Box 250-BB, Pickering, ON L1V 2R4 by May 3, 2013
- Québec Residents: Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of this Contest in Québec may be submitted to the Regis des alcohols, des courses et des jeux du Québec for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Regie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
