We’re proud to celebrate our 7th year supporting Easter Seals, and are thrilled to announce that we’ve taken our sponsorship of the 24 Hour Relay to a new level as the title sponsor of what is now the Money Mart Easter Seals 24 Hour Relay! Since 2003, Money Mart staff and customers have worked together to raise nearly $2 million to help send thousands Canadian kids with disabilities to Easter Seals camps. This May, we’ll come together again in the hopes of raising over $400,000 for Easter Seals.

The Money Mart Easter Seals 24 Hour Relay is a great opportunity to team-build, network with others and make a difference in your community. Every year leading up to June, teams of friends and colleagues collect individual pledges and organize fundraising events. In June they celebrate for 24 Hours during Canada’s longest relay run & walk, not to mention biggest party.
With at least one team member on the track at all times, the rest partake in various activities such as softball, volleyball and Karaoke to name a few. And of course, there’s always the beer tent, not to mention the fun of camping out in a local park or complex. Relays are held in Victoria, Vancouver, Kelowna, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Regina, Toronto, Montreal and Halifax.
Registering is easy, simply visit www.24hourrelay.ca, pick your city and register your team.
A Great Cause
For more than eighty years, Easter Seals Canada has been dedicated to serving Canadians with disabilities. More than 100,000 Canadians and their families annually access programs and services provided by Easter Seals organizations across Canada.
At its fully accessible camps, kids learn about themselves and the potential of their abilities. The facilities are designed to ensure that every child, no matter their disability, has the support they need to have the time of their lives, gain confidence and a sense of independence, challenge themselves and cultivate meaningful friendships.
Every summer, more than 6,000 kids attend one of 22 Easter Seals camps. Easter Seals also offers active living opportunities throughout the year, which include sport and social activities. Other Easter Seals services include the provision of specialized mobility and access equipment such as mobility aids, assistive technology, adaptive computers, augmentative communication devices and adaptations to homes and vehicles for wheelchair accessibility.
